Today's films
are filled with the evil of the world. War, violence, sexual immorality and the
glorification of these things. Luke 11 is not your typical Christian Film,
which tries to give you the bible in an hour. The film follows a young man on
his journey of faith and redemption.
Brett Wallace is a carefree newlywed, who has
always thought of religion and church as a waste of time. Everything was going
smoothly, he married his high school sweetheart right out of school, he lived
on his own and made his own way.... Soon Brett finds out that his sweetheart is
actually far from the angel he fell in love with.
Brett's marital breakdown spirals him to the
depths of despair. God intercedes for Brett, when he finds himself brought to
his knees. A powerful transfiguration and spiritual birth opens his eyes and he
sees miraculous things. In an instant Brett is carried from death to life. The
power and the glory of God himself shine through every trial in Brett's life
and through those who are touched by it.
It is the hope of the writer and director that
those who find themselves in similar circumstances can immediately validate the
experience, lay their yoke upon the author and finisher and knock on the door,
seek the shepherd and be enveloped in a peace that surpasses all understanding.
